We're a row of cabins on a beach, not a data company. Here's everything we do with your information, written the way Derron would explain it on the phone.

Bungalows on the Beach is a family-run cabin court at 322 Shore Lane, Wasaga Beach, Ontario, operated by the owners, Derron and Laura. When we say "we" on this page, that's who we mean — actual people, reachable by phone at (705) 429-1576.
When you call, email, or send us a message, we get whatever you choose to share — usually your name, phone number, email address, and details about your family and the dates you're hoping for. If you fill out one of our ad forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends us the same sort of thing: your name, contact details, and which week you're interested in. That's it. We don't buy data about you and we don't collect anything behind your back.
To call you back, answer your questions, match your family to a cabin, and hold your booking. Derron may keep your name and dates on file (some of it literally on paper) so we can welcome you back next year. We don't send newsletters, we don't do drip campaigns, and we will never sell or rent your information to anyone. Ever.
We keep this simple. The site runs exactly one piece of ad tech: the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It notes that you visited so that our Facebook and Instagram ads reach people who've actually looked at the cabins instead of strangers — that's it. We don't run any other analytics or trackers, and you can block the pixel with your browser's tracking protection or opt out in your Facebook ad settings without hurting our feelings. Beyond that, the only cookies here belong to the private owner-admin area, and unless you're Derron, you'll never see them.
If you reached us through a Facebook or Instagram ad, the form you filled out lives on Meta's platform and is governed by Meta's own privacy policy. Once you hit submit, Meta shares your answers with us so Derron can call you back — and from there, everything above applies.
We keep booking records as long as we need them to run the place — deposits, dates, who's in which cabin. If you'd like us to update or delete what we have about you, call (705) 429-1576 or email bungalowsonthebeachwasaga@gmail.com and we'll take care of it. No forms, no hoops.
